Three ways the work usually starts.
Start with the photos you already have, the images you are adding now, or the requests that arrive after publication. See how the lifecycle fits together on the how it works page.
Already have the photos? Build a working view.
Connect the places where photos live. Ansikt helps you see who appears where, attach the consent records you already hold, and find what still needs review.
Respond to Article 15 and 17 requests on the clock.
A former employee asks where their images are used. Search the connected sources, review the matches, and export the answer or proof of action with the audit trail behind it.
- Search Reference photo or person record
- Audit trail Search, review and export logged
- Export Answer or proof of action
- Coverage Connected sources only
Offboarding without the internet treasure hunt.
An employee leaves. Their photo may still be on the team page, two press releases and an old campaign page. Ansikt gives HR and comms one working view of the affected images.
- Affected images One list to review
- Source path Where each image was found
- Action Remove, replace, blur or keep
- Record Decision kept in the audit trail
New images entering the library? Attach consent before use.
Define what the campaign or shoot is for. Gather any missing consent before publication. Keep each image tied to the people and records behind it.
Check whether an image can be used for a purpose.
Before a campaign goes live, review the people in the image against the consent records and Purposes on file. If consent is missing and the person is known, the request is one click away in Ansikt.
- Purpose What the image is for
- People Known people and uncertain matches
- Missing consent Request from the subject
- Decision Use, review, blur or replace
Group photos do not always need to come down.
A class photo from 2019. One parent withdraws consent. Where the URL Proxy is in use, that face can blur on the next request — or the image can be taken down automatically, your choice.
- Selective blur One withdrawal, one face hidden
- Proxy scope Only images served through the proxy
- Alternative Take the image down
- Record Action kept in the audit trail
Something changed after publication? Find what is affected.
Handle withdrawals, expired consent, takedowns and access requests without starting from scratch. Ansikt narrows the work; your DPO or editor still owns the decision.
Handle a withdrawal after images are already in use.
A subject withdraws consent. Ansikt shows the affected images, where they were found, and which uses need action. Proxied images can blur or refuse on the next request; origin-served images still need action in the source system.
- Withdrawal Logged and timestamped
- Proxy enforcement Applies on next request
- Origin images Manual source action still needed
- Evidence Export proof of action
Answer an access request with evidence.
A data subject asks how their images are used. Search by reference photo or person record, review the appearances, redact third parties where needed, and export the answer with the audit trail.
- Request type Article 15 access request
- Review Third parties still need judgement
- Export Answer with source paths
- Audit trail Search and export logged
Recognition quality depends on archive quality, face size, lighting and occlusion. See Capabilities → Limits.
